AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL-THE VIDEO GAME
Users of Cingular or Sprint enabled cell phones can shell out $5.99 for a virtual game based on Tyra Banks’ “America’s Next Top Model.” The game allows players to select a virtual version of their favorite and least favorite contestants from the show and interact with them as if they were advancing their modeling careers.

FROM RICHIE TO STEVIE TO SMOKEY…GRAMMYS COVER OLD SCHOOL LEGENDS
It was recently reported that Stevie Wonder and Lionel Richie have received Grammy nominations for the 49th annual Grammy awards, but also on the list is Smokey Robinson. Smokey picked up a nomination for his “Timeless Love” cd. He was recognized in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category. The project features timeless standards. You can check out the Grammys on February 11th.

WESLEY SNIPES PLEADS NOT GUILTY
Wesley Snipes is free on $1 million bond after pleading not guilty to federal charges of tax fraud. The actor returned to the US on Friday to face the charges. He has been given a deadline of January 10th to return to his home in California and hand in his passport. A status hearing will be held February 22nd. A trial has been tentatively set for March 5th.

MARIAH VS. MARY CAREY
So, who’s Mary Carey? If you’ve never heard of her, she’s an X-rated celebrity who’s made moves recently to trademark her name, very similar to Mariah Carey. Mariah threatens legal action if Mary Carey decides to trademark her name, saying that fans will get confused, but Mary Carey says, “I’m a porn star and I’ve been myself for a long time. I think Mariah is being silly.”

BEYONCE SPENDS RUMORED 2 TO 3 MILLION ON JAY Z’S BIRTHDAY
You heard about that three day bash that Beyonce was working on for her boyfriend, Jay Z’s birthday, right? Well, she reportedly spent 2 to 3 million on the three day bash, including two private helicopters and a 270 foot long yacht. They celebrated Jay Z’s 37th birthday in the Caribbean.

KIM FIELDS PREGANT?
According to the San Franciso Chronicle, Kim Fields, the former “Facts of Life” celebrity, is pregnant reportedly by her boyfriend, Broadway actor Christopher Morgan. She’s due to give birth in May.

PRINCE TO HEADLINE THE BIG GAME
Prince, nominated for five Grammy’s this year, will headline the half time entertainment at the game on Feb. 4th in Miami. The game will be televised by CBS.
